[$15 Tier] SPHINX page 1 WIP special

I'm free from KNIGHT OF ALANOC actively being in my schedule, so now SPHINX gets my full comic-making attention! This is the actual page 1 with Kaz's story, where Asher's story is now starting on page 16. The overall narrative now has a 'weirdness escalation' when it comes to their tales about the Sect of Strato, and I can't wait to show you Cirocco's story in particular. It's certainly something lol.

Some notes about this page and writing: Writing for comics uses physical space on the page, so everything has to come across in way fewer words than in books. It's a little bit like a screenplay, except every word counts even more. There are benefits and drawbacks of every form of art that requires writing when it comes to getting across your desired story.

The chocolate pastry they're talking about in panel 6 is actually more like a taiyaki (they're usually fish-shaped rather than chicken-like), but I figured explaining it was easier than having readers potentially not know what I'm talking about lol. Sometimes the extra words used to explain concepts and objects is worth the page space, if it is for the benefit of the reader.

Re: Ravi wanting to talk to him: We'll see in a bit that Ravi finds common ground with him being a former gladiator (of a sort) himself. It is rare that Ravi meets people who have had similar experiences as him and the book is about the four of them having these shared experiences of the sex-and-war-obsessed Sect of Strato and it's influence upon their world.
