Ravi is reading and beckons Xerxes over to 'help' him lmao. Each scene in By My Hand is a few short pages like this, enough to execute little ideas that couldn't make it into ACE OF BEASTS (since this one has elements that have to take place in a more domestic setting i.e. not a tent lol). They wouldn't have been well-suited to individual books.
I'll fix the chair's design into something better looking before I ink this one lmao.
