Radio station built on passion and at high standards
Added 2019-05-08 00:07:46 +0000 UTCThis is a "thank you" post to everybody listening and especially to those who contribute or contributed to our Patreon page. This is was a very important step for us because we needed to see who would support our lovely radio.
To better understand all the mechanisms behind what you are listening to, let's review them:
The music
- You are listening to the entire GuerriNight radio show's music that has been bundled together in almost 7 years. Petru listened to tens of thousdands of songs in order to keep the ones we have now on Lounge Avenue. He spent a lot of time setting up every song, one by one. Do you know you can request songs from our website or the Android app? Give it a try!
The jingles
- Every professional radio station needs jingles and we have some that are really nice. We also have sweepers, short jingles that go on air at the beginning of songs right until the voice comes up. This is something very difficult to set up, technicaly speaking.
The sound processing
- What you hear it's not only the songs you like but hundreds of audio settings that brilliantly work together in order to bring you a friendly radio sound.
The backup systems
- Radios need backup systems, from electrical to data. If the radio software dies, there is another that starts after 20s to replace it and it alerts everyone involved in maintaining Lounge Avenue.

Lounge Avenue is a professionally crafted radio built on pure passion. If it were for it to go on air, FM style, Lounge Avenue would meet the standards with flying colours.
