Hopefully this new chapter improves the quality of everyone's week. It's a healthy amount of fully edited new content.
I will repeat my warning, that this is not the original story, but a different story, a reimagined version that I hope will "make more sense," feel more complete, and be more full of detail and animation. I really tried to go back and breath so much life into this old story for those who consider it their favorite. Some of your favorite lines, moments, or events might be gone completely, replaced with new dialogue, and new moments. This is a reimagined scene that hopefully might feel both very familiar and very new.
This chapter is now forever titled "The Blue Bikini," named after the famous blue bikini that now has twenty years of retro nostalgia.

4/30 - I decided to remove the first four pages featuring Clarissa's perspective due to fan feedback that I agreed with.

2025-04-29 20:09:00 +0000 UTCOh boy, every time I see a new update for "Searching for Sparky", it feels like Christmas! :D Though I must say, I am not a fan of seeing the story from Clarissa's point of view. The excitement and suspense of the original story was created by the fact thet we as readers never knew more than Mitch did. We only got to discover things about Clarissa at the same time as he did, only when Clarissa would reveal them to him. Now, being aware of Clarissa's goals and intentions long before she implements them on Mitch and subjects him to them, I feel, is taking away from the fun and excitement of not knowing what lay ahead. Just my opinion.
