I do not draw shadow and light with "colour" I use a tone-correction-layer 2 for the main shading: the inner shading of the object and 2 for the light-spots.
Then I added a lot of global light ...

Luckylie I had so much pre work on the masks for the lines, that colouring was much easy and faster then ever before!
normally I make that colour detail on the soles in the progress of shading ...
