Glad you guys liked this episode. I always had a love and hate relationship with this episode. I hate that it’s the only filler in Korra , but it’s kind of a nice change of pace. It’s a pretty funny episode and hearing the story from Makos perspective kinda gave me more respect for his growth. His line about having to figure out who he was without a woman in his life, sounded like something you would hear in real life and made me realize that Mako has matured a lot over the seasons, the way you see Korra mature over the seasons. But they made this episode of filler episode for production reasons. It was supposed to be Kuvira‘s backstory, which would’ve made the season a little bit stronger in the end in my opinion, but I still like this episode.
