Added 2025-09-25 13:09:04 +0000 UTCThe earlier version of this strip's punchline had... additional Reagan discourse! But it required Becky to be kinda overly-transparent at maintaining a facade, which she would not be, so I found a new punchline.
Plus it kinda kicks the legs out from under Hank's seeing through her facade a strip later! It's not an accomplishment on his part if she, like, just gives it away.

Reagan ought to be a good starting point to begin deprogramming ol' Hank. Maybe with the exception of Thomas Midgley Junior, it's hard to point at any individual in all human history who has inflicted more harm on this world. And at least people can agree Midgley made mistakes! Fuckin Reagan truthers still sitting around waiting to see how 3120 people owning everything is magically going to fix any problems. Alright, I know the comic and its readership is largely on the same page here and there's no need for it to get on Reagan's case. I guess all I want to say is I'm impressed with this portrayal of insidious villainy on Hank Brown's part.
