Excellent beatdown you gave Ranma and crew here. With you killing off characters who survive in cannon it really increased the tension, making us wonder if we would lose some of the good guys as well.

2019-02-16 19:36:37 +0000 UTCNice festival I actually really like the reason you gave for Mira giving up Ranma. I mean it really brings out the real depth of a character when you write like that. I just have to think of DxD story and just shudder at how empty the character truly are. As far as Ranma landing a girl or more I think really depends on a few things, who he falls in love or loves with feelings, the actual culture mentality Ranma beliefs comes from, how much is Ranma willing to change. Then you have a amazing fight that going to have long lasting side effects. As amount of intel they used, wasted and left behind was too much. Also idiot had to scream out they needed a council member when he left calling her a key uhg. Status Quo with the all the dark guilds just went down the pipes with the town getting partially destroyed by the Balam + Ravens working together.

Several thigns worth mentioning Trimens "Several shouts of delights" vs "There were only two of three girls in the guild who seemed to look at them kindly..." So are the Trimens welcomed by Fairy Tail girls or are they not? :-D You sort of make them both into failure (most of the time) but also quite successful for general population I guess? The festival was really well done, and I always laugh how selective Ranma is with his female form. But well, food is food. Truly a funny festivals, even if not so much for the stalls owners :-D I especially enjoyed all Juvia scenes. She later showed how versatile her magic is, but at this start when she showed at the guild she was just extremely cute with her reaction :-D Really, withour her own stalking she is one of the best girls there :) On the other hand Natsu just seems dumber and dumber given we don't get to see his more daily routine, which shows him while not exactly as bright, at least more in tune with his instict. Really, most of his behavior is instinctual, and that combined with the way he was raised up and what his interests are... well we get this result :-D Now regarding the fight, Ranma versus everyone was awesome. He managed to have a fight with two very strong dark guils at once and they had even more backup with them. That's awesome. But I must admit the first showing of his Dragon Slayer magic while supressing the Ki was kind of a letdown. When I compare it to his pure Ki (aka super saiyan) showdown. Well, there is really no comparison. On the other hand it's true that he was still trying to get them out of town first, and that he still needed to use some Ki as to not transform fully. Still I expected that if Ranma used just his magic power without it fighting Ki so much it would at least at first affect the surroundings Gildarts style (or as Natsu did coming back after second time skip) I'm also not sure if he should have so much control as to even start using Ki attack of this magnitude while having half the body still transformed and mainly using dragon slayer magic. Especially as this attack needs a Soul of Ice which I don't consider an easy technique to use. Overall the fight and the ending was good. The final attack via tornado and adding blades to it, awesome. Just expected much more from Dragon Slayer magic when used alone, but I hope that it just full extent of what he is capable even right now if he truly let loose :)

This is more out of sheer curiosity, but are you into bands like disturbed and shinedown? I actually see alot of fics use disturbed songs for battle tracks so idk if it's because they blend quite well or if were all just rock lovers. I'm just gonna pretend I didnt imagine all the s class characters with logo brandings and sun glasses...thanks for that, really.

Yeah...I think if being a Ranger needs to stay secret, that's not going to fly any more. Unless...he and Wendy learn some sort of transformation magic to disguise their form? Mira Jane was able to teach Happy and Natsu to an extent in canon, which was just used as a joke scene.

I was on the edge of my seat till the very end of the chapter, anxious but happy when Aquarius popped up to save Lucy (also wondering how her and Scorpio’s relationship will end up after this round) and I loved Jenny’s Stomach Pump form hahaha - what a great chapter and I can’t wait for the next one! Thank you for your countless writing

2019-02-04 13:59:58 +0000 UTCYes on who remained fit to fight, although Ivan too was good to go, if not for Natsu and Gajeel, they might have been able to overwhelm Ranma then, maybe save Cobra too. And he did use the HSH. Kijin Raishin Dan would have been good, but yes is ki intensive, Bakusai, no - Hoteye was keeping him from setting down most of the time, and could turn even the walls of the town against him so no go there.

ONly the S-class mages and Makarov know he's a ranger, while everyoen else htinks he's an independent mage who just so happens to be serving the king in his quest to take on dark mages. But... that's a very thin lie, and after this mission is just not going to wash any longer. Which means Ranma's going to be ousted as a Ranger, and the kings will either need to think up ways to still make use of him in that role, or he comes out fully into the open, limiting his utility in Fiore and Seven at the very least.

That's why Ranma, who really should have figured it out considering Jellal etc, didn't think there could be other reasons why Oracion Seis seemed to be in position to hit back sometimes when their subordinate guilds were attacked.

The plan was to have him be close enough to be called in once they hit the forest, which is still more than a day away from where they were ambushed. Oh, and it was two badass dark guilds and two guilds of dark mooks, while protecting townsfolk, just sayin. I do intend in the next chapter to show everyone stepping up, to really show S-class means SUPREME LOL.

2019-02-04 11:07:42 +0000 UTCPity Ranma's ki is depleted. I'd imagine unleashing Kijin Rashuu Dan would have work wonders and give the fear of God to the baddies. Hmm... though i had to wonder how come he didn't try to use Bakusai Tenketsu to add more ballistic missiles to the tornado. Also, whether there's variation of Hiryu Shoten Ha that he can use in this situation? Even then, i think only Brain himself and Hoteye remained that can fully take on the fight. Angel is traumatized, which will reduce her effectiveness. Racer too, plus head injury. Not to mention that Ranma is now fully aware of his abilities. Midnight's dead. Cobra neutralized. Is there others?

The fight was pure badassery. I can almost imagine the faces his enemies will make when they learn he had to wing it during the fight. He truly is a battle genius.

2019-02-03 09:49:24 +0000 UTCIdk what everyone else is talking about, but I'd be damned if I wasn't the first review after actually reading this chapter. So even if its almost 230 am in the morning I'm proud to say that was quite the enjoyable binge. The half chapter of fluff and combat was a nice mix and I really enjoyed ranmas interactions with the girls. Though not as much as I enjoyed the sheer badassery of him taking on two dark guilds. We didn't really see much of the offensive capabilities of that pseudo dragon force, but the defensive boost seems substantial. Count their blessings that tartaros hasn't interfered yet, but I can only assume it's a matter of time (though I'd like to believe ranmas display of power was quite the show for our favorite horny (hah didnt even mean to make that pun at first) demon). Now I understand why so many people joined this battle, looking forward to the divide and conquer though I gotta ask where the fuck did bacchus go? Anyways I think that about covers it. Looking forward to the next chapter. As always, thanks for the read!
