When they were flying close to Berk, it really wasn't as dangerous as you think. Remember the NIGHT Fury blends in with the NIGHT sky.. That's the Reason no one has ever seen one lol also I never hated stoic. I didn't like how he treated hiccup. But it's completely understandable why he would act that way.

Smart details they added in for the worldbuilding. Edit: Also, the scene where Toothless draws a bunch of lines in the dirt is his way of teaching Hiccup to not overstep his boundaries. And you can see that Hiccup figured that out in the next scene, when he reaches his hand out to Toothless and he growls again. Toothless is training Hiccup too lol

I've seen the second movie and I think it does pretty well as a sequel. Have not seen the third though. Also, a reaction to Spiderverse would be awesome, even if only one of you is going in blind
