Marianas Trench is my favorite band of all time!! This, by far, isn't their best work, and their normal music sounds nothing like this. I really would recommend listening to one of their albums in full; each one has a storyline, song transitions, and a different sound. The newest album Haven in particular is perfect start to finish—it's a very theatrical pop punk with very cool orchestral meets punk instrumentals

I will re-recc 'You Don't Think About Me At All' by Chelsea Cutler. Chelsea is a smaller artist but her album Stellaria was one of my favorite albums of all time. Good picks here though, Fletcher is a GREAT artist and her album 'Girl of My Dreams' (personal fav), as well as her shorter EPs 'THE S(EX) TAPES' and 'you ruined new york city for me' are PHENOMENAL. If you're interested in lesbian artists Fletcher is the go-to for stellar pop imo. (Halsey is also great and Tate takes the bag for me, Tate's newest album is one of my FAVs. Although for others it's a mixed bag)

I dunno, I just like his voice. My sister also makes music, though, and she only has 48 listeners. My favorite song of hers (so far—she’s releasing a new album soon) is “Coastal Sweetheart” and it has less than a thousand listens on Spotify. Her handle is Brombogeepazzle. (No…I don’t know how she pronounces that. 😅) I can send you the lyrics, since Spotify doesn’t have them. Although my sister said that it might have been an earlier lyric draft she sent me, haha. (I have auditory processing disorder+hearing loss and read lips so I can’t tell) My sister does EVERYTHING herself. Every instrument is self-taught, she rented a studio to record her voice and instruments, she did all the production, etc. Just a totally solo project. I won’t blame you if neither is your speed! My sister has a really distinct sound that might not be for everyone, but I think she does incredible work. EDIT: Hahaha, I jumped the gun! There’s “Coastal Sweetheart” right there. Looking forward to this. I wonder if you’ll vibe with her or not.
