She knew she could kill those minorities and people would either thank her or blame Kimiko's brother she also knows when and where to be racist and when and where to be woke. Literally everything she does is at least a little bit planned out.

2020-09-10 17:26:37 +0000 UTCWhen I first heard that her name was Stormfront a couple of months ago, I hoped that the writers made an unfortunate mistake since it was the same name as the neonazi website from years ago. Then I got to this episode and saw that it was entirely intentional and making a statement about it (and of course the same character is in the comics who is an actual nazi). It's a pleasure seeing people who don't know about the website or didn't pick up on the clues on her costume or that she was from Portland or that she was really into Homelander's blue eyes and then realize that she is a racist. It's insidious how the most dapper looking person could be a raging racist

2020-09-10 12:17:27 +0000 UTCI think the best comparison between Homelander and Stormfront evilness was; Calculated vs Cultural evil Homelander is calculated evil. The plane scene he thought through why he needed to do what he did. f it was better to save them he would have done it. With the blind supe, it was all control not about the fact he was blind. Stormfront is cultural,systemic and irrational evil. She has no filter on how she speaks and no filter on how she acts because her privilege in this case comes from her physical and social power. So when you get a bigot that has social platform, it is scary, but when she also has the physical ability to inflict more damage by herself than any radical group it is terrifying and that same privilege masks and protects her even if it is overt. What is more scary? A narcissist like homelander who craves universal worship and will do ANYTHING to get there or someone like Stormfront who says the "right things" but will then enforce their world view through cultural or physical oppression. The Boys is wild.
