We have a few changes planned for our 2025 content to make this place as fun for everyone as possible and one thing we've noticed is that watching shows seems to keep both our Patreon & our YouTube audience more engaged. So with that being said, while we will still be reacting to movies every month, this year's content will feature a heavier focus on shows!
That's where you come in! We're curious to hear exactly what kind of shows the Pumpkins want to see us watch so we created a survey to find out more. You can submit any kind of genre you want, this isn't limited to horror/suspense or drama--just tell us what you think would be fun for everyone involved! You can submit up to 3 and then we'll use the results to help shape our 2025 content and possibly will do some polls to narrow options down in the future. As always thanks for being here!! We 🧡 you!

2024-12-28 23:25:05 +0000 UTCI recommended three great shows (the main through line being that they’re gay in some way 🏳️🌈): What We Do in the Shadows (funny gay vampires) Our Flag Means Death (funny gay pirates) My Lady Jane (great romance/fantasy/historical fiction with some fruity characters 🍓 Especially recommend this cuz I know y’all love SIX and this show is a modernized take on Jane Grey and the crisis of succession after Henry VIII’s son, Edward, dies)

HANNIBAL, Our Flag Means Death, Good Omens, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (only if you haven't seen it), Grace and Frankie (an older one but so funny), Midnight Mass, and Somebody Somewhere (a sadly underrated gem of a show).

Movies, no problem because I've seen them before or they're a quick 90 minutes, but multiple episodes of a tv show feel difficult without being able to independently adjust volumes and subtitles. Just a thought.

2024-12-28 07:25:49 +0000 UTCAfter Life with Ricky Gervais. It is the best show ever IMO. It's so raw and real. I belly laugh and ugly cry every single episode. You will LOVE it. It's only 3 seasons and it's on Netflix. My 2nd vote is Mind Hunter on Netflix. It's loosely based on the true stories of the FBI in the 50s learning how to profile serial killers and you see interviews with Charlie Mason, Ed Kemper, etc. It's incredibly good.
