WORK IN PROGRESS

Hey, guys!
A few words about the work in progress and an update on the progress so far.

Work on the animations continues. I'm currently finishing the first batch of sex animations. 3D animation has a lot of nuances unlike 2D. So you have to take into account a lot of different factors.

In order not to delay the release of the first version of the project, I will not go into different variations of poses and will present a few scenes of interaction with NPC.
I think you won't mind trying the first part of the project soon with limited options rather than waiting a long time for me to customize more options.

At this point I need to do the intermediate stages of the animations and the work on the interaction at this point I can consider finished.

The only thing that confuses me is the hair. If you make them more realistic, it puts a big strain on performance. If you optimize them for good performance they start to look bad. There are also a lot of problems with adding a lot of variations of different hairstyles.

So for the moment I'm using one hairstyle for android and I'll deal with the hair variety issue later. To not spend a lot of time on experiments now.

The next step will be adding graphics to the interfaces (buttons, icons, and more) that make the game easier and more comfortable to use.
Therefore, I assume that by the end of the year I will be able to publish a closed version of the game for you.

3D game development is more complex than its 2D counterparts. It requires more work, especially for content. All objects should be thought out from different sides and at different distances. You have to take into account the optimization of each object and look for a fine line between visuals and performance.
But I will try to provide you with a complete project so that you understand the perspective of its development in the future.

Thank you. Yeah, that's my pain. I have to compromise with my conscience. Then there is also the problem that most users don't use the latest generation graphics cards (like RTX 4080). This too has to be taken into account and it also affects optimization decisions. I also can't understand developers who use new gen ray tracing, 4 or 8k textures, open and seamless worlds. Such things in most cases will not work for many users even on minimum graphics settings.

PANDORIUM

As someone who has given up designing for some time, one of the things that bothered me in my C4D days was hair/grass; and I feel your pain. In a render you can sacrifice days to finish for a still image, whatever. But when it comes to realtime rendering performance, it’s a nightmare. Trying to finish some app projects of my own as of lately, I’ve definitely learned that some of those nuances need to be understood that we just don’t have the capabilities to meet our desires. You’ve got some great work and I still can’t wait to see what you deliver. I really hope you don’t stress over hair, or grass like I did. Keep up the good work!

In the case of 3D there is an undeniable advantage - the space of action. Unfortunately 2D has more limitations.

PANDORIUM

Despite 3D being harder to work with, it still gets more work done than the 2D game we have.
