[TT] Devlog #1: Let's talk about Arisu designs!

Hello Patreons!

This is the first devlog of Twenty Twintails, and I want to make many more to share the creative process of this project with you. In this first devlog, I'm going to show you the designs of Arisu, who will be one of the protagonists of Twenty Twintails and probably the only character along with Nancy who appears from the beginning of the story.

Now, it's worth noting that in Twenty Twintails, the story unfolds in different years, and therefore, some characters will change physically according to their age and emotional/personal situation. In the case of Arisu, I have planned for us to see her in 3 stages of her life for now. She will be Liam's (the protagonist) best friend from childhood, and they will continue to be friends in high school. In her young adult stage, she will radically change her appearance for reasons that, for now, I won't reveal, as it could be a significant spoiler.

From this images, I can share some interesting facts about Arisu.

• In her childhood stage, she will have large front teeth, but in adolescence, she will wear braces, and her dentition will change. In her adult stage, she already has her teeth completely "fixed" (although in the image, her mouth is closed, and you can't see it).
• The yellow and black scarf she wears is because she's a fan of the Harry Potter saga, and the house she belongs to is Hufflepuff (which has those same colors).
• As you can see, in all three stages, she wears pigtails, and she is really the character most "obsessed" with them and also the "driving force" behind the fashion and craze for pigtails within the story (something I might tell you more about later).
• Probably the outfit Arisu wears as a teenager will be the final design/outfit for the female high school uniform that Liam and Arisu attend.
• In her adult stage it can be seen that the freckles on her face are no longer there, and this is because Arisu hides them with makeup.

• For the design of Arisu as a child and teenager, I've been inspired by these images that have gone viral. I had other designs in mind, but the glasses, teeth shape, and hairstyle of these images I liked a lot for Arisu.

¡Hola Patreons!

Este es el primer devlog de Twenty Twintails, y quiero hacer muchos más para compartirles el proceso creativo de este proyecto. En este primer devlog, voy a enseñarles los diseños de Arisu, que será una de las protagonistas de Twenty Twintails y probablemente el único personaje junto con Nancy que aparece desde el inicio de la historia.

Ahora bien, cabe destacar que en Twenty Twintails la historia se desarrolla en distintos años y, por ende, algunos personajes cambiarán físicamente de acuerdo a su edad y situación emocional/personal. En el caso de Arisu, tengo planeado que, por el momento, podamos verla en 3 etapas de su vida. Ella será la mejor amiga de Liam (el protagonista) desde niños, y continuarán siendo amigos en la preparatoria. Ya en su etapa de joven adulta, ella cambiará radicalmente su apariencia por motivos que, por ahora, no diré, ya que tal vez podría ser un gran spoiler.

A partir de estas imágenes, puedo contarles algunas curiosidades sobre Arisu.

• En su etapa como niña, tendrá sus dientes delanteros de gran tamaño, pero en la adolescencia llevará brackets y su dentadura cambiará. En su etapa adulta, ya tiene los dientes completamente "arreglados" (aunque en la imagen tiene la boca cerrada y no se puede ver).
• La bufanda amarilla y negra que lleva es porque ella es fan de la saga de Harry Potter, y la casa a la que pertenece es Hufflepuff (que lleva esos mismos colores).
• Como podrán observar, en las tres etapas ella lleva coletas, y realmente ella es la personaje más "obsesionada" con ello y también la "impulsora" de la moda y fiebre de las coletas dentro de la historia (algo que tal vez contaré más adelante).
• Probablemente el outfit que lleva Arisu adolescente sea el diseño/outfit final del uniforme femenino de la preparatoria a la que asisten Liam y Arisu.
• En su etapa adulta se puede observar que las pecas de su cara ya no están, y esto es porque Arisu las oculta con maquillaje.

• Para el diseño de Arisu niña y adolescente, me he inspirado en estas imágenes que se han vuelto virales. Tenía otros diseños en mente, pero las gafas, forma de los dientes y el peinado de estas imágenes me han gustado mucho para Arisu.
