Since Miles and Chris shack up, the Walrider doesn't get shut down, so it takes control of the facility and Murkoff just walls it all off and hopes for the best :P
I have a headcanon that beta and omega pregnancies would be functionally very different; betas are less efficient and similar to regular human pregnancy (usually yielding 1-2 babies) but omegas have a more compact build during pregnancy and yield a "litter" of 4-6 smaller, faster growing babies and have a much less strenuous birth process. Mainly because the whole production of heat/rut and knotting yielding 1-2 offspring over basically a year seems wild to me, plus that an animal built for breeding wouldn't also have some advantages for pregnancy and birthing. So poor Miles can barely walk while Waylon's half his size with twice as many pups :))
Also sorry for the dubcon vibes, they're not mad b/c they're knocked up, they're mad because they don't wanna have their pups in an abANDONED ASYLUM/CORPORATE TESTING FACILITY with the WALRIDER but their alphas have been entirely useless since they got pregnant lol
