2024-05-09 04:41:24 +0000 UTCLove this episode, definitely one of my favourites of the season. I love Claire and I'm always glad to see her. I always love to see and the boys and her interact. They've come such a long way from when they first met her. You'd suggested that she go home and be normal, which I totally get. For the boys sake at the very least, I need her to stay alive! But I don't think normal is in her vocabulary given the life she's already led. She's determined to be a hunter (I imagine in her mind she wants to try and stop other people from having their lives and childhoods ripped apart by the supernatural) But you're right, she's not great at it yet. But she just started hunting on her own, and as Dean said, you can't teach hunting from a book. If she's gonna do it, she's gotta just try and fail and try again and hopefully stay alive. As for Mick, he actually did already change everything he believed in by not shooting Claire when she was practically begging him to. Yes, Dean threatened him, which probably played into his decision, but as he said, his instincts were still all screaming at him to kill her, but he didn't. Then the fact that he actually helped to save her "That girl is a walking miracle." seems to have made him see the possibilities beyond what he's learned from the BMOL. So, what he did to Hayden was obviously horrible (and yes, a HUGE problem with the BMOL along with stirring up and angering otherwise chill monsters) but he changed with Claire, and he seems like his eyes are open a bit. As usual with adversaries and monsters, time spent with the Winchesters is changing him, softening him a bit just like with Cas, Gabriel, Crowley, Rowena, Meg, etc. I mean, Cas and Gabriel were never monsters, but they were both adversarial in the beginning. The boys often have that affect on people (and monsters) making them want to be better. We'll have to wait and see what happens with the rest of the BMOL. Anyway, I'm finished with my Winchester cheerleading brigade. 😁 I just love them. 😍 Loved Dean telling off the tribal tat douche at the bar! He's so protective of Claire. When she said the guy was a scumbag and grabby and Dean was immediately like, "Grabby?" Lol! Great reaction! Looking forward to finishing the rest of the season with you!
