A little update about upcoming comics and scheduling!

TLDR.: I want to start focusing more on comics than singular pieces, which means I might post finished works less often from now on and instead you will see more comic WIPS. When I do work on singular pieces I would like to start putting a little more time and planning into them as well.

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone!

So, yesterday I had a bit of an epiphany whilst trying to juggle 4 simultaneous ideas that all came to me within the same hour, that being that I probably should start to organize myself better and slightly slow my roll 😂

I already "struggled" with getting my ideas in order before because of the sheer amount of them, but now that my interests are split between BG3 and KCD2 I am admittedly starting to feel a little overwhelmed! There are so many things I want to do and finish, but drawing fast is no longer enough to keep up with my own brain - not to mention that I would like to take a little more time on each individual piece from now on.

I think the way I will tackle this is as following:

I will focus more on comics from now on, both short (1-2 pages) and long (5+), as well as nsfw and otherwise. Having narrative in my art is what really keeps it interesting for me, and I often find myself struggling to keep standalone drawings simple because... Well, one picture just tends to not be enough to get across whatever I have to say! Especially if I'm trying to pump it out within a day so I can focus on other things. This could mean posting finished pieces less often since comic pages can take more time and planning.

Similarly, save for the occasional doodle, I want to try and do less standalone pieces, but put more time into them.

Ultimately, I don't think this will change things around here that much WRT to how often I post - frequency might remain the same, but it will be more comic WIPs than other things. I will also tweak things as needed if this really doesn't work for me.

And, of course, I couldn't even consider either scenario if it weren't for your support, and my priority is always to try and strike a balance between what I want to do and what people want to see! And a vast majority of you does seem to favor the comics, so hopefully this works for all of us.

As promised up top, here is what I've decided to focus on next project-wise:

• (BG3) Few-page comic about Astarion's and Cazador's first ever meeting. SFW, horror depending on how you look at it.

• (KCD2) Short comic about Hans' first time giving Henry head. Obviously NSFW. A little charming inexperience.

• (BG3) Potentially a lone Astarion/Slayer piece because I've been feeling the itch again. NSFW. Something evocative of hotdogs in buns. Could turn into a comic page.

• (BG3) A simpler NSFW piece to sate my need to draw DU drow bottoming 😂

• (KCD2) A more involved, SFW piece about Hans, Henry, Erik and Istvan based on the song Cities Of The Plain by mewithoutYou. A little diabolical. Sates my need to hurt my own and everyone else's feelings and also forces me to draw a horse again.
