Update (May 22nd, 2025)
Added 2025-05-22 20:57:26 +0000 UTCChapter 38 is now available to all tiers! This now puts Patreon 6 chapters ahead of public chapters on FFn. Chapter 39 will be uploaded to Patreon next week on Tuesday/Wednesday as usual. Chapter 33 will be available to the public on May 31st.
With Chapter 38 done, we are finished with the post-Kokabiel arc and will be moving fully into the Infernity arc. The next few chapters will be focused on something I've always wanted to do, put Ichigo into the role of a mentor. In canon Bleach, and in DMAW so far, Ichigo has always been a student and someone learning to come into his powers and find himself as a teenager. One of the central themes of DMAW is growing up and moving beyond the walls of home to discover what's more in the world. Therefore, I'm looking forward to Ichigo being a mentor and teacher to Rias, Sona, Kiba and the others. Maybe even some self-retrospection about being a better and responsible older brother that certain someone(s) may manuever into conversations about fatherhood, hmm?
As for the next In-Between Years chapter: the poll was overwhelmingly in favor of Bleach characters! IBY chapters tend to be comedic and lighthearted, so I will keep to that sentiment.
