I'm really excited for what this year holds for No North! Hopefully I'll be able to make a ton of progress with the pages!
I have a great announcement to make! This was supposed to be our next Patreon Goal, which we keep "reaching and unreaching" every month, but I figured that at 94% we could take this step!
I've finally hired a flat colorist for the comic! Please welcome Well Rosa to the team, an amazing digital artist and a great person. We've been working together for about a month and I'm amazed by what he does and the amount of progress we were able to make! You'll start seeing his flats by page 99 ;)
Thank you all for making this possible. Hopefully there will be way more "Surprise Pages" on Mondays this year! <3

XD I was getting so absorbed in where we were going with the duo's journey to Oddwind and Martin's interest in the compass that I almost completely forgot about his original intent to go to Newport and meet with Chabot! I have no idea how such an important chunk of plot slipped my mind! :D This must be some storytelling technique you guys were using here. Forgive my ignorance, but I'm not much of a writer. I can also really sympathize with Shorty in this page, as I know all too well that feeling of struggling to get ahead and having only one last chance at that big break. His desperation and determination are very appreciable to me. Also, if you don't mind if I offer a small suggestion: in the third word bubble in the bottom panel, "on" should be "in". That would be a little bit more correct in the context of that sentence. Congrats on the new helping hand! His gallery is impressive. I'm glad this comic has so much support, and that I did my little bit to help get you there! Awesome page as always Skailla, can't wait to see what happens next!
