I see. I suppose with this much lore it's hard to keep the facts straight, but it's still unfortunate.

Then the Retcons and injecting of random stuff like the emperor having a wife back in the days when he was creating the primarchs, and said she did fling them across the cosmos because of a hissy fit or something. The lore is a mess.
