Hi all!

This is an early update. I'll post another tonight along with a couple of book 10 chapters.

I finished my edit of Cevin's Sword and plan on releasing it next week on the big A. This is an upper middle grade fantasy book I wrote a long time ago. If you read it, you'll see that I have common themes I love to come back to and you'll get a glimpse of where my head was at ten years ago.

I wanted to get this book out because, like The Grey Warden, I plan to have it intersect a tiny bit with the Divine Apostasy series. Specifically book 10. And I wanted to give the readers of the DA series the satisfaction of recognizing the significance of these places.

It is absolutely not required reading. I don't plan on major interactions like I've done with Ash's story. These are just worlds I enjoyed creating and the magic systems inside are part of the larger system Ruwen is discovering now.

The MC is 12, so please keep that in mind if you read it.

If you read any of Fred Saberhagen's Sword Series you will know where the inspiration for this novel originated. I don't have clear memories of the actual books as I read them a long time ago, but I remembered the wonder I felt and the concept. Talking weapons.

I will post the cover shortly and ask for input on the series name.
