October 5, 2019 - Update
Added 2019-10-05 17:12:23 +0000 UTCHello, everyone! I knew this would be a challenging week, so I had intended to get up early and write in the mornings. That proved more difficult than I'd imagined. I'm not giving up on it and will continue to figure out ways to increase my productivity. On the plus side, my anniversary is today and my marriage gained a level. Ding! So I had some success this week. My hope is that you had some successes this week as well.
Speaking of successes, Ruwen received some new loot in this week's chapter. While I have the major story beats all mapped out for the book, I don't have a detailed outline. This allows my creativity to thrive in each scene. As a conseuqence of that, the loot that drops are items that I think are cool and interesting. They are not part of the plot. What I love about this is when Ruwen gets in terrible situations, he looks at his items, Skills, Abilities, etc, and comes up with a creative solution to survive. It makes writing his story fun.
I've opened chapter 14 to Harvesters and added chapter 15 for Step Masters.
