I lucked into a fantastic narrator. I'm a bit of a dick when it comes to character descriptions! I tend to gloss over physical characteristics but a lot of the characters, especially in Carnival, have accents that are either explicitly stated (Bob uses army RP, Raoul is a scouser etc) or heavily implied like Vic being a Geordie and Charles does a fantastic job of capturing them all. I put in a lot of British accents and Charles does an amazing job, he even nails the god names in chapter 18 that i deliberately made unintelligible!
I'm an audiobook addict, it's how I got into the genre all those years ago. I'm not too embarrassed to admit the first litrpg I experienced was Everyone Loves Large Chests narrated by Jeff Hayes. Then I went on to enjoy slightly less weird litrpgs.
