The new Scottish guy is a menace!
Imagine walking into a job first day and being met with that......I'd have chinned that Scot twat within 5 minutes.

Na happy slapping was a thing over here when camera/camcorder phones first came out, where teenagers would run up and slap random people while it was filmed, by them or their mates. They were then sent around via Bluetooth(I was at college and remember getting a few🤦♂️😂)💜

Robin's "Yep. Yep." at 10:06 just reminded me of Lisa and the guy that made the nettle soup in Clarkson's Farm. The very Irish way of subtly saying "no".

Great reaction, thank you. I do like this episode, but if I was being picky I think it is a bit all over the place. It's not quite peak Thick of It. Forcing ITN News to change its news agenda does reflect the influence that spin doctors try to have over the media, but it was a bit on the nose for me. And then the outcome wasn't that they got rid of the defence overspending scandal but that it dropped down the list of stories to air. Not a great outcome: marginal gains. And Malcolm wouldn't ordinarily want Hugh Abbot or any government politician being at the top of the news, even if it slightly distracted from a bigger issue: this would be failure for him either way. So you have to suspend disbelief a bit more in the episode than in most others.

Hello! If you mean "NOMFuP" by "political term" it means "NOt My Fucking Problem". Hope that helps.

Add to that list Julius Nicholson and Phil Smith as well as “Big” Ben Swain and Emma. Some amazing Glenn moments to come.

That comment about Hugh looking like a disgraced geography teacher hits a bit harder now...:(

The first 3 are good but Nicola Murray, Stewart Pearson, Steve Fleming and Peter Mannion are all real standouts yet to come. It only goes uphill from here

Jamie's got all of the bad language of Malcom but doesn't have the cunning or the wit to inflict the quiet terror Malcom can.

Yeah thought so, and that's the best way to do it anyway in my opinion - I wasn't expecting Inbetweeners so early in the week and it was a nice suprise haha

Jamie beats out Malcom as my favourite character in the thick of it and he's the only other character to make it into the film spin off In The Loop.

That is correct Ryung I don’t have a set schedule. If I did I would just be breaking it on a constant basis lol.

Any day is a good day for the King's comedy reactions, just keep 'em coming.

Angry Jamie has some great, sweary, violent-imagery tirades in the 2 specials after this series.

I don't think he has a rigid schedule that he sticks to in that way, as he's previously said he does what he can when he can.
I've always assumed that once he's watched one episode from all of the 6, 7 or 8 shows he has on the go at any given time, he then restarts the process but sometimes he fancies getting back to a particular show sooner than another, so it might arrive earlier or later in the week depending on that...
I could be wrong though just my 2 cents haha

The “cleaning your mother’s piss” is loosely based on Tony Blair being confronted by a lady called Sharon Storer in 2001.
