Even with the smell of food in the air, Ellie still didn't wake, so Joel decided to open the blinds covering the window. As soon as he did, bright morning sunlight streamed into the room and fell across Ellie, bathing her in warmth. Not long after, she began to stir. The light and warmth slowly pulling her from sleep and her dreams. With a small groan, Ellie's cracked her eyes open but immediately shut them as the light was blinding. Shifting her body slightly, she lifted her right arm to shield her eyes and slowly opened them again. Her voice was still heavy with sleep and cracked a bit when she called Joel's name. In response, Joel smiled and said, "Mornin', Beautiful."

These two images remind me of the set of images taken from Joe's POV where he and Ellie were making love in a bed very much like this one. I could easily imagine this set of images being a continuation of that. Having made love, Ellie and Joel curled up together and fell asleep, wrapped around each other and basking in the afterglow of their lovemaking. Being an early riser, Joel awoke before Ellie. Enjoying the feel of her naked body pressed against his, he simply held her for a while and watched her sleep. However, he knew they couldn't stay in bed all day, so he reluctantly got out of bed, careful not to wake Ellie just yet. Once he was up, he got dressed and started to prepare some breakfast.

I'm particularly taken with Ellie's eyes in the second image, how they're sort of half-lidded. That could be a result of her having the sun in her eyes moments before she raised her arm to block the light, but I also think she may have just woken up, so she's still shaking off the haze of sleep.

Anyway, the play of light and shadow on Ellie's body is spectacular. I love how the two elements work together to showcase the various features of Ellie's body, like her breasts and her thighs. I also love that hint of her pubic hair peeking out from between her legs. And that shadow of her left breast cast on the inside of her left arm is such a wonderful touch. By the way, her nipples are AMAZING, two perfect little pebbles of feminine flesh. Also, the camera angle for both images is perfect. I love the overhead view in the first image, because it feels like we're hovering over Ellie, and there's a wonderful sense of intimacy. The second image is even more intimate, because we get a clear view of Ellie's face, but the camera is right next to her on her left, so it feels like we're lying in bed with her, and I can practically feel the warmth of the sun and of her body.

Absolutely BREATHTAKING! The first thing that jumps out at me, other than Ellie, is the lighting. That sunlight is beautiful. Obviously, it's bright, but what makes it beautiful is how wonderfully warm it is. I swear, I can practically feel the warmth of the sunlight, and I can only imagine how warm Ellie's skin is as it bathes in the brilliant glowing rays of the sun. Aside from the sunlight, I love the use of shadow. I particularly love the thin strips of shadow on Ellie's right arm as she tries to shield her eyes from the light. Those shadows tell me that there's probably some kind of blinds that have been opened to let the sunlight pour into the room. I also get the sense that the sunlight is at a slight angle, meaning the window is located above the level of the bed. By the way, the bed looks surprisingly comfortable, as does the pillow.
