Quantum Player v.1.2 | VRChat Asset

There were no VRChat Video Player which works good, simple to use and has great functionality... until today!

Quantum Player's main features:

• Minimalistic design which fits every world

How to use the player?

I tried to make the player usage very intuitive, but here is a simple explanation anyway:

Some of the buttons can only be seen only in modes, where they are available. For example,  "Rewind" and "Forward" buttons are Win10 player only!

Buttons, which are not very obvious:

• Refresh button - Press this button if video loaded for everyone but a few people. It tries to relaunch it for all of the viewers. It means that this button also resets the video for all the viewers, don't touch it while watching! PS: If button does not helps, try to insert the URL again.
• 3D Source - Defines which type of 3D video you're watching, "Side-By-Side", or "Top-Bottom" variant.
• 3D Mode - Defines how to watch the 3D video. "VR" is for VR users, it displays the video in 3D for VR headsets. "2D" is to see the 2D video even if the source is 3D. "Anaglyph" is a feature for desktop users to see video in 3D with Anaglyph goggles.
• Master Only - Toggles the permission to use the player for everyone or for Master only.

How to setup the Player in your world?

Step 1: Just drag and drop the prefab somewhere in your scene and you're done!

Step 2: There is no "Step 2"

How to make the screen to reflect the light to nearby surfaces?

Support of this thing  is already build in and it called "Global Illumination".

NOTE: You should know that this feature can decrease the overall scene performance and also can require a lot of time to bake the lighting!

Step 1: Mark your static nearby objects "Static"

Step 2: Go to the Lighting tab (Window -> Rendering -> Lighting Settings) and turn on the Global Illumination on.

Step 3: Press "Generate Lighting" is it didn't start automatically

Step 4: Wait until it finishes baking and, it should work. You're done!

NOTE: Your player's screen must be active and visible while baking the light!

Working with the responsive UI

Player's UI is fully responsible, select the "Interface" object inside of the prefab and scale it just as you wish!

If you want to disable something, just find the button and disable the object, UI will responsively rebuild itself!

Can I modify the Player?

Yes, almost as you wish! But do NOT turn off the little "Q" button, that's my copyrights, I want it to be on every player UI. The other things you are free to change, including colors, sprites and the "Stand By" picture. 

But you can not share my player and your custom modified version!
