This video was shot in our hotel room during a recent trip to Germany. I would credit Aurora's vision for this work almost entirely. When I filmed it, I couldn't see where it might go, even though I had faith that something would emerge later (because it ALWAYS does). I think because Aurora acted it, and felt it, she knew what it could be.

I sat down to edit it and had some ideas, started cutting it into useable sequences - but this is standard practice for any video and it is merely the technical work that has to be done. It's the concept and meaning that must be realised and this is where Aurora stepped in.

She suggested a vintage look and feel, like an old cinematic production. So that was my next technical challenge, to make it look this way - again a technical thing, but I did start to then see the concept and vibe. Next: the soundtrack. Aurora selected the music, I added it and things became suddenly clearer to me as far as the vision went.

Slowly, as I understood more, the edit progressed until the final render, which is what you now see. Last thing: the title. Again, this came from Aurora and fits the concept perfectly.
