Interesting note though: I think j-hope is most in his element in 'natural' settings rather than a closed set which is why I enjoy his dance tiktoks when he's interacting with the environment. They have a spontaneous feel which stems from his street dance background. Same for his HOTS documentary which showed him dancing in various city spots

I hope Hobi will do more of these in the future, as a dancer himself. These studio chooms really allow us to focus soooo much more on the dancing and it doesn’t let us get distracted from the art being shown right in front of us (oooo he’s the Mona Lisa lol 😂)

On the tour the moves are very fast, sexy and veryyyyyy sharp, but on this he showcased it in sensual and groovy and tbh swaggy, which in my opinion shows how the choreo can work in a versatile way as well. I loved that so much!!!🕺🏼✨

2025-03-22 16:47:23 +0000 UTCWhen he makes that move of showing a frame with his hands near the beginning, in the back the white box opened up the same way, that was such a cool edit/transition🖼️ tbh the way they’ve used lighting in this performance is perfection💯 waiittt when he says sparkling and the wall shows like a sparkling water fountain-esque image/like sparking champagne (kinda) ahhh I love that❤️ also when they take out their phones with the flash on (paparazzi-esque), it’s like the viewer is Mona Lisa hehe and they’re all taking a picture of you, pose for the camera I guess haha📸

2025-03-22 16:46:44 +0000 UTCI love that he did a studio choom for Mona Lisa as it is a very choreo based song (also the MV is more focused on the choreo as well) as opposed to Sweet Dreams that is very much vocals, vibes and only one part has a section of choreography. For a Sweet Dreams performance I’d picture it a bit like Jimin when he performed Like Crazy at INKIGAYO and it started with him on that bed (besides the one on Jimmy with him and Miguel on what looked like rooftops I usually see in Korea, also I see it with a set and backdrop) the performance on the tour gives a very dreamy/misty vibe. So doing a studio choom for Mona Lisa I feel was a perfect decision as that channel is very much for showing off the choreo side 🌙💭
