Red cloak of Dark Apostle

Today I have for you a video tutorial on which I presented how I painted the red cloak.
This time I not only managed to paint it from the beginning to the end but also make it shorter :D
Of course you can use paints from any brand, the only thing that matters is to follow the steps and use my technique.
Like always I used Winsor & Newton series 7 size 1 brush

do You recomend Scale ? Are they better than valejo?

2021-07-27 20:35:55 +0000 UTCIn my opinion the colors are ok. I use Vallejo due to easier application on a wet palette, but it's just a matter of the comfort of my work :)

2019-07-22 14:00:14 +0000 UTCHello :) yes, I've tried zenithal priming and it doesn't work for me, because you have to recreate the shadows with black paint and that's more work than hand-painting a white sketch. Besides, zenithal priming works on matte surfaces and metal reflects also in the shadows

2019-07-21 20:24:51 +0000 UTCGame colour white really is the worst. I particularly like the white from Instar. "pigment clumps, and the medium is around it". Splits is the word you're looking for; the paint splits.
