The Battle of Helms Deep took 3 months to shoot. All night shoots. 3 months of filming in the dark.
2023-06-13 00:00:34 +0000 UTCI am *shocked* Just *shocked* no one has mentioned "it". "it" is a little known (by that I mean very well known and constantly mentioned by the community) bit of trivia. In the scene where Aragorn kicks the Uruk-hai helmet after discovering Pippin and Mary might be dead, Viggo (Aragorns actor) broke *two toes* he kicked the helmet so hard. The scream is over the real pain of him breaking his toes. Something the director didn't find out till later. Never gotten to be the one to mention "it" before, wild I hadn't seen it here xD
