Last night I went to the closest local bonfire for San Juan (the equivalent of midsommar), we danced a few songs around the fire and threw pieces of paper with intentions. It was short and sweet. I enjoyed being part of that community for the event, even though I don't feel part of it (apart from family and my Qigong participants I don't really have a tribe there) the rest of the time.
It was beautiful to see so many people involved in the event, keeping the tradition of honouring this time of the year, and giving a thought to intentions we want to cultivate individually.
Intentions to keep working on, patterns to keep transforming lie now as ashes. Maybe that's why I look quite sassy in these pictures. Maybe something is already being transformed :)
From fire, to water again, and again...
