Added 2023-07-29 13:10:43 +0000 UTCThis river is home. I spend quite of lot of time here, daily. Not just swimming but also rewilding myself and rewilding the area. The bottom of the garden connects with the public land of the riverbed. We've been working in this liminal zone for months, little by little, making it more accessible for going into the river, and doing changes such as getting rid of masses of brambles, 2m high nettles (I love them, but they are not very friendly to enjoy spending time there doing gardening and chilling there barefoot and naked) and some invasive plants; and planting native trees, bushes and woodland plants that we gather from the woods nearby.
This week we did lots of work including leveling up the ground in some places so I can offer some nature connection and ecotherapy sessions there hopefully soon. I'm incredibly excited about sharing this space, this home in a nourishing way with participants, and to see it grow and develop...
