Spare Me Your Mercy - Episode 3 Reaction

Spare Me Your Mercy - Episode 3 Reaction

I have only watched to episode 3 so far and my money is on the director. He believes that Dr Khan killed his boyfriend/lover so he is framing Dr Khan. Dr Khan and the director are more or less the same height so i am assuming the same shoe size. That guy that was walking in the woods seemed similar to Dr Khan. Boss is just there as a plot twist. I don’t think the director knew that Boss was falsely documenting the dosage he refills to cover the loss of medication which is why the director helped him. The director stole the extra meds! Dr Khan is not administering KCl, he is really giving them pain medication so they can die/transition without pain. Zapa was already dying but he was in excruciating pain so he gave him pain meds. I said it first the Director is the only culprit. Boss will get involved to initially save Dr Khan who he admires but he will make things worst at first. I am going to watch episode 4 now.

I mean, they already confirmed that Dr. Kan is euthanizing some of his patients with their consent, which is what I think happened with his mentor as well. However, he obviously didn’t kill that other patient that the copycat murdered. My money’s still on Boss.

I'm sorry but I really don't think Doctor Handsome as done anything. He and his nurse knows something and their secretly investigating it, as for what happened to his mentor 8 years ago I feel the director is misunderstanding the situation because he doesn't like Doctor handsome for some unknown reason. The directors behaviour is little strange too, he looks kinda out of it a few time. My money is on the Coroner and the directors boy toy.

That scene with Zapa and the doc, I was bawling! I appreciate how well it was done. The show of respect, the reiteration of consent, and the support of the family and villagers(?). Kudos to the show for giving us, the audience that... in contrast to what happened with the others. There just might be an angel of death going around. Snap! Juicy secrets, jealousy, mysterious killer, and slow burn romance... Let's go! Side note, as an individual with coffee running through my vein, I appreciate anyone who appreciates good coffee. Doc just gained 10 more points.

I definitely agree with your theory about the copycat and I believe the copycat is Boss. I think it is Boss because of how he idolizes Dr. Kan. The only question I have about that, is how does he know that Dr. Kan does that because it doesn’t seem like anyone else knows outside of the nurse. My theory about the Director is that, Dr. Kan mentor was his lover or someone of importance to him. That’s why he accused him of being the murder. The only question is how does the Director know what he did. With all that said, I believe the mentor asked Dr. Kan to do it.

I meant more of the getting it illegally route. πŸ˜…

Most countries only allow this kind of medication to be sold directly to hospitals. I guess that’s also the case in Thailand. So basically, the only way for him to get KCl is to steal it from his workplace. He can’t buy it on his own, even with a prescription or by being a doctor.

Here's my theory... I think the situation with the director is a misdirect. I think Dr. Kan's mentor is the former boyfriend of the director... or if not the boyfriend, someone that he deeply loves... So this is a matter of revenge on the director's side since he truly believes that Dr. Kan performed assisted suicide to the one he loves (which I truly believe Dr. Kan did euthanize his mentor). So because of this vengeance, he believes 100% that Dr. Kan is the one who murdered Nipon. Now, I do believe that Boss is the copycat. He mentioned that Dr. Kan is his idol. He also said something important about thinking that doctors have the power to decide whether a patient will live or die. Maybe he figured out along the way that Dr. Kan is doing exactly what he wanted to do for a long time. So he decided to take action and use his relationship with the director to do what he wants but in a more deranged, murderous way. I don't think the director knows that Boss is doing the murdering since in his vengeful state of mind, it's all Dr. Kan. That's just my 2 cents πŸ™‚

in the scene in the tent where Wasan is crying because of his mother, even though he was only a little late, I thought:...."did the mother probably ask the doctor to help her die before her son arrived? And if Wasan were to find out about this, would it destroy the relationship with the Doc?"

I like how they handled Wasan and Dr. Kan "getting together". The conversation seemed really natural and to the point. I was also wondering why the director didn't say anything about what he saw Dr. Kan do to his mentor back then. I think he kept it to himself but now that it happened again (even though it wasn't Dr. Kan) he feels he needs to stop him. Too bad he's barking up the wrong tree. That preview looks so good. Now the waiting begins...
