I've have been reading all the Jiang Tian's Very Moment scenes as the "life's turning points" idea they mentioned earlier in the show: whether this is a moment that changed the way he perceives himself/someone else, a turning point in a relationship, etc. This one does just seem like trauma/shock of catching your parent cheating/sense of betrayal/being exposed to an overtly sexual act at a young age and not quite comprehending - not quite like Wang's awakening moment seeing the teachers but idk XD might just be me seeing it this way only

2024-11-30 03:13:20 +0000 UTCIn terms of writing, this is my favorite episode. From the very beginning, it flows like a classical poem. In fact, I even incorporated the poems presented in this episode into my students' classical Chinese literature classes.
