It's so sad but I love it ๐๐ I also think the switching between the past and present is genius. It makes it more heartbreaking but also more impactful. I know you're reacting to a lot of things right now but if you have time I would definitely rewatch. I noticed so many details that I missed the first time. I didn't even catch that the scene where Seojoon is driving to the restaurant is both in the past and the present. There is a shot of two cars going in the opposite direction. One is months before when Seojoon is first looking for Jiwoo and the other is the present time. I also don't believe that Jiwoo broke up with him for those petty reasons. It seemed like he memorized that speech in case Seojoon found him and he had to talk to him about why he left. My theory is that Jiwoo doesn't think he is worthy of Seojoon and that's why he started that restaurant to get successful on his own so that he can be good enough for him. He is a very independent and prideful person and he probably doesn't want to feel like he is taking advantage of Seojoon's fame and money. I also love that even though Seojoon was going to leave he still wanted to spread the word about the restaurant so that people would go there. Not sure how Jiwoo feels about this but as always Seojoon is trying to get involved and help him out. So excited to watch this with you!

The only reason I could accept would be if he was blackmailed or threatened. ๐ค Otherwise, in my opinion, there is no justification for simply disappearing without comment. No matter what, you can always talk about it. So I'm really curious what Ji Woo's reason is. And what about the kid that called him "dad"? My heart really stopped for a moment. They can't do that to us! ๐คฃ

2022-06-07 12:04:54 +0000 UTCThe reason Seojoon seems to be intrigued by the woman is she keeps saying things that Jiwoo said in the past! In season 1 ep 1 Jiwoo said he doesn't like receiving free money which is what the woman said to Seojoon when they first met, and you can see the recognition on his face. Then in this episode he overhears her talking with the colleague about how easy it is getting dressed when you just have a few items of the same clothing, which is a conversation Jiwoo and Seojoon had in season 1 when Seojoon asked if Jiwoo only owned that one cardigan haha. And, yes, I have watched season 1 too many times to count hahaha.

Season 2 does seem to have the angsty vibe but I guess, in reality, a lot of long-term relationships do have this kind of slump in their lives. Just want to let you know that every episode have an epilogue. Episode 1 has it too. I missed it on my first watch as well. Just found out later that it also has one. So maybe episode 3 would have one as well. Looking forward to the future episodes and your reactions as well. TMS has been one my favorite Korean dramas out there and Iโm suffering through this second season as well. Iโm glad to see the high production value put into this second season. Our director-nim did amazing! Blueming was very good and I can now see the same effort, time and money put into this season of TMS. :) Hope it goes really really well~~~

With the woman at the end: I personally thought that Seo Joon was looking at the door, not at her, a direct parallel to that other scene when they were still together and Ji Woo visited him on set. But the woman was between them in that last scene. I am so excited to see what comes next!
