Priests of Misfortune
Added 2016-02-29 15:20:12 +0000 UTCFate and luck are double-edged swords. Deities from ancient cultures - the Aztecs, Egyptians, Greeks, and Welsh - were rightfully wary of the gods of misfortune. This article from Dan Head introduces the god of ill-fortune, Jinx, one of the triumvirate which also includes Fate and Fortuna. Also described is the misfortunate domain, information on clerics of Jinx, and new magic items such as the No-Headed Coin. Illustrated by Sade.

Good article, though I have to agree with Connors statement that there should be a limitation on asking the same request repeatedly.

2016-03-01 13:31:42 +0000 UTCI really like the idea of this domain. There is a lot to play on with luck and of course ill-luck. I would have thought there might be some interaction with the luck points of the Lucky feat, but I guess a GM can determine such as thing if the situation occurs. Also, it seems odd to align the Domain so strongly to one deity. Makes the wording of the powers odd if a GM/player chooses a different deity/philosophy/whatever. I would have stuck to 'generic' language for the subclass, even though I love Jinx and the material accompanying the subclass. Well done Dan. Another subclass being added to my list on our website. So far I have added ALL EN5ider options to our character gen pages. More quality stuff. Thanks. :)

2016-03-01 01:41:54 +0000 UTCFollowing the line, "In such a case, the goddess has refused your call for divine intervention," under Calamity's Disciple, I believe there should be some mention about not being able to repeat your 'request'. In the desc it says you Channel Divinity is not expended, so are you then just free to continue until it is? If you request has been denied i would have thought that you could not repeat immediately.
