I didn’t read the books and he’s hardly a character in the movies so yeah, I’m not a huge Dobby fan. — BUT — Dobby’s death scene always makes me cry, not because it’s Dobby, but because how much Dobby meant to Harry and the rest. And I can’t help but think of all the friends/family members/pets that have died and I’ve had to bury over the years. It’s the line when Harry says he wants to bury him “properly” that gets me. 😢
