2022-06-30 13:02:15 +0000 UTCI wish the last part ("Manufacturers must be falling over themselves to have you wear their clothes") was true but it's not really, sadly. There are thousands of content creators out there. So thousands of people who are presenting themselves to wear clothes for free (or even sent them back). And small brands, especially the ones of the fetish or goth szene, do no want to invest money into marketing or rather influencer marketing. Or time. Yeah, sometimes they really are on a budget but mostly they don't see the value of investing into online marketing to increase sales... I get a lot of cooperation requests from China (cheap cosplay stuff, vacuum cleaners, office chairs, haha) but that is not what I want to show. So it's still not that easy and expecially communication with brands is very time consuming.
