“Are you content with the content of your brain?” The one on the left asked.
“Because… We could change it for you. If you’d like.” The one on the right leant forwards.
You had known them for a little while, and they’d always talked about how much fun they had with their subjects.
So, you wanted to find out what all the fuss was about. Now, with the two hypnotists sitting before you, the possibilities were more than a little thrilling.
“Of course, we’ll discuss any changes before we make them.”
“It pretty easy to get lost and confused when we first describe them to you.”
“Just like it’s pretty easy to look into our eyes.”
“But whose eyes do you look into?”
“Mine? Or theirs?”
“Theirs? Or Mine?”
Your head was already feeling fuzzy. Their voices were so soothing. Their eyes were so beautiful, it was so easy to look back and forth between them as they spoke.
“But before we go too far, come back up for us darling.”
“Back up to reality.”
Your mind cleared. Your disappointment must have shown on your face.
“It’s okay. That was just a taste. We will take you under.”
“But first, we do need to go over what you’d like to happen, okay?”
You nodded. You were ready.
