“It’s easy to think. Isn’t it?” They asked, looking down at you, kneeling before them. You nodded. “Good, then try to think for me. Try to think of… Your name.” You conjured your name in your mind, easily enough, considering their hypnotic haze which was filling your head.
“And it’s easy to talk, isn’t it?” Again, you nodded. “Okay then, tell me your name.” You open your mouth, and find that the word has slipped from your mind. Confusion blossoms inside of you. You try again, and the same thing happens.
Their laughter at your confusion makes you look up at them. “Awh, what’s wrong? Can’t remember your name? Or is it just that you can’t say it? How about this, look into my eyes, and tell me what to call you. Just the first word that pops into your head, okay?”
You stare up into their eyes, and as you do, you feel them starting to pull your mind downwards. Filling your head with more of that hypnotic fog that makes it so hard to think. You open your mouth to speak the word that has come to you. “Toy.” And with that, you drop.
