Any lore or Kalyskah(Character) questions?

I love answering lore questions and also things related to Kalysakh. One of my plans for next year would be to have a small video of Kalyskah herself answering a few of them. I always wanted to do something like that ever since I first saw Zone-Toons several years ago. So sometimes, when you people ask me questions here, I note them down to add them to this small video I plan on making when we are not so tight with our deadlines.... which could take a while to happen.
Still, feel free to ask them here, and I'll note the most interesting ones for the future.

She can control people's minds but even doing that, it doesn't make she able to make them look like her. She had no good reference and even if someone made a perfect painting of her, she's so self absorbed in what she thinks she should look like that she would not believe it is the real her. There's a mixture of mirrors not existing when she was human with a certain amount of ego and paranoia

IMO, for someone who lived some 10,000+ years, they generally don't give a rat ass about what the extremely short-lived creatures (humans) would even think of them. Vampires in your universe may not have compulsion ability. But in general knowledge, they can use compulsion on any human and that will be the end of freewill of that human. I think this is a bubble every vampire learns to build over time: they have to love their body/look because they are practically stuck with it. Or else, thousand years of depression awaits them.

2022-12-08 20:35:10 +0000 UTCAs far as I can think of, someone assertive would present her with a challenge. Although she would hardly fall in love with somebody, this could make her lustful towards them.

I don't want to spoil too much about her baby, but this would be something mentioned pretty early on in the prequel novel that there was no love or connection between her and the father of her baby. Basically, she was important to the tribe, and everyone (Including her) thought she should continue her legacy. Then they organized a ritual where the most virile men of the tribe would spend the night with her in a tent. That happened; she for pregnant. Eventually got sick and had a miscarriage. So she didn't really know who the father was and didn't really care. Having a baby to her was nothing but a tradition to be followed. This is part of why when she is talking to Laver she says that she used to feel loneliness within a crowd and that no one would look her in the eyes and love her. She was seen just as this being to be worshipped even before turning into a vampire.
