[Vampire+ Release] Version 0.21.0

Hello everyone, Corintio here!

Today's patron patch highlights are the three new dialogues, improved compass and several bug fixes. Here's the list:

Version 0.21.0

Fixes

• A Quest marker will no longer show on a random NPC in the map;
• Progress on updating how cleavage is applied to characters, which would prevent breasts from clipping through their shirts;
• We never managed to replicate an issue that sometimes causes NPCs to clip on the ground as if they were squished, but we did a workaround that, in theory, should force them always to have bodies, which would solve this issue.
• Improved how we handle eye-tracking during cutscenes so Kalyskah can look up and down when she moves her head;
• Fixed an issue with our state machine that was making characters flicker during cutscenes and dialogues;
• Fixed an issue that caused the button "Skip Cutscene" to show up in the pause menu despite having no animation actually playing;
• Fixed NPCs falling under the ground when they snap into a workstation. This should prevent Laver from disappearing after the first cutscene is done;
• Hopefully, this fixed the issue that would cause toysystem interactions to be greyed out after a few interactions. This was caused by a variable that needed to be properly reset when a scene started. We couldn't replicate the issue, so this needs some testing;
• Fixes on NPCs' ambient dialogues so they don't talk while sleeping;
• Fixed lights on a few Gallery scenes;
• Fixed crash that happened when you pressed Space during toysystem and photo mode while your camera collided with the ground.

Enhancements

• Further improvements on the way our game handles quest descriptions and events to make it even faster for us to add new content to the game;
• Improvements on quest marker and compass. Now doors that you need to interact with should have a placeholder icon, and NPCs you are tracking in quests will show up in the compass as well;

• Slight improvements in mouth and teeth material;
• Added sound effects to the 'steampunk' pipes area underground;
• There will no longer be rain or snow on the island except when Kayskah controls the weather to do so. Which is more fitting to the lore;
• Set swarm form as the default key for Shift + 4 and 4 so it's more intuitive to use it (This will take effect for new games. But you can easily adjust your spells hotkeys to better suit your preferences);
• Added male servants and her blades;

• Added placeholder coffins in Gremmnoch's room and set vampires to sleep there in the morning (Just don't mind their heads clipping through the coffin yet, it's a work in progress!);

• Reworked some code that should improve the FPS a little (up to 5 frames, as far as I could test);
• Photo mode should now pause particle effects too! But on the other hand, when you move the camera, things will look blurry. We'll be improving it with time.

• Improvements in the effect of Kalyskah's glowing eyes during cutscenes and when the vampiric vision is active;

Features

• New Hairstyle:

• Improved materials on every male character. their skins should now look much better, and now we can add muscles to them. We have yet to update the body shapes since we are waiting for some tweaks on the new Rig so we can add everything at once.

Progress on the Slice of Unlife quest:

• New dialogue with Laver (The Animations will be improved during the month)
• New dialogue with Borden
• New dialogue with Alvina + A mini-quest where you can help her find her Notes
