Terra WIP (I need your opinion)
Added 2025-09-04 21:27:39 +0000 UTCHi loves! I wanted to share with you a super rough and early sketch for Terra, and ask for your honest opinion on this idea. Sculpting hard surfaces honestly terrifies me, but I thought this concept could be really interesting: Terra lying peacefully asleep on top of her ruined Magitek (only half of it showing, with the other half maybe buried in the ground). This would definitely be a very challenging project, and it looks like the base would take quite a bit of resin to print. So I really want to know: do you like this idea, and would you actually print something like this? Or should we go for something simpler. I think we can make a very emotional statue with a smaller base too, with her standing, so that's an option. Your thoughts?

I like the idea of the base. However, I feel that it would have to be constructed in several pieces that are then keyed together. This would make the base easier to print -- particularly if one up-scaled the figure size. (I usually print my projects at 1:4 scale on an Elegoo Saturn 2 printer.)
