Release 2 Update 27

Rough week as far as getting regular times to work on TAG, meaning I had to find and sneak time when I could. But I still got many hours of work done. Even though 95% of my work is done on my desktop PC, and I cannot do Daz Studio image work on anything BUT that, I do have a Microsoft Surface Pro (sort of a laptop/tablet) that I dumped a bunch of TAG files and applications onto. So I was able to get a lot of game testing and coding done on that. Got the game code tightened up nearly 100% I think: a great deal of time spent play-testing the game and making fixes and adjustments.

While play-testing it I found a couple spots that moved from one scene to another too abruptly, and needed to fill in with some additional still images to ease the transitions. Didn't take too many of those, and was able to get enough desktop time to get all that done. This release plays around a little bit with the MC's dreams... (or nightmares really!) and I hope that works well with players!

Regarding sound I'm not as far along as I'd like to be, but just finished all the music, and the sound effects are probably about 50% done.

Haven't been able to get any additional work done yet on the animations, but it's looking like the end this week I can start tackling those, after completing the sound effects, and game play-throughs to test them and the music.

My parents are mostly doing a little better for the time being, but still with some major issues. We had them head over to their local ER this morning because of suspicious swelling and redness in one of my mom's legs. Hopefully it won't turn out to be a DVT. Last week I spent a large amount of time helping them, and that's mostly when I made use of my Surface Pro because a lot of that time is waiting to see doctors or staying overnight at their house as a sort of health or pain "watchdog". Working in the background trying to get them some in-home assistance with the basic household and self-care functions that challenge them.

Comments

Forgot to mention: I also ended up re-recording a number of AI dialogue files (something like 40 or more of them) that I decided could be improved using ElevenLabs' new "Speech to Speech" feature. Some of those lines are only a little improved, but most of them were GREATLY improved!
