EARLY ACCESS: Falcon and the Winter Soldier 1x2 FULL REACTION
Added 2023-09-21 14:30:19 +0000 UTCThis was an interesting one. In The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Episode 2, John Walker struggles to step into Captain America's shoes. Sam and Bucky pursue the Flag Smashers, a group with super-soldier abilities. A fight ensues on moving trucks, leading to Walker's intervention as Captain America, but things go wrong. Sam and Bucky visit Isaiah, an old war veteran with powers who was imprisoned for 30 years. Bucky is arrested for missing a therapy session but is released thanks to Walker's intervention. The Flag Smashers regroup, and their leader, Karli, receives a mysterious message. Sam and Bucky's therapy session ends poorly. They decide to investigate the Flag Smashers further and visit Zemo in prison.

I immediately dove into the Truth: Red, Black, and White comic run and it has easily become one of my top 3 of all time. Anyone who hasn't read it, I HIGHLY recommend checking it out. 2023-09-21 20:20:03 +0000 UTCSpeaking of Wyatt looking like his father, him and russel are both staring in the new Godzilla show on Apple. Wyatt is playing the younger Kurt in the show. The referencea to medicine and vaccines throughout the show are from a plot line they completely cut. Initially there was supposed to be a global pandemic from the the people coming back from the blip. Vaccine and medicine roll out was tied into it. With this set to come out during the height of covid Disney scrubbed that entire plot line.

2023-09-21 17:21:40 +0000 UTCWyatt Russell is his name, haha, I loved him in 22 Jump Street and Overlord (really good movie if you haven't seen) Him AND his dad will also be in the new monsterverse (Godzilla, King Kong etc etc) series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, He's going to play the younger version of his dads character in it. gunna have to beak down and sub to appletv to watch it, sigh, lol. I remember Wyatt got a LOT of stupid dumb hate online when it was revealed he would be the 'new' Captain America. It was upsetting. He's not a supersoldier though, he's just a really really good, athletic, guy, both Walker and Hoskins.

Steve was obviously one long ice slumber, but basically any time the Soviets weren't using Winter Soldier as an assassin, they were putting him back on ice, so he was probably asleep more often than not. It's also why, at the end of Endgame, Steve shows up as an old man because he's been living for those 80 years or so without going back into the freeze.

Walker don't seem the bad but something about his aura is throwing me off. I love how this series is flushing out the chemistry and small moments Bucky & Sam had in the movies. I looked up Isaiah Bradley and he's in the comics and it's one of the most heart striking story ever! I wish I could say more but I don't want to spoil.

2023-09-21 15:11:23 +0000 UTCa nice detail is how poorly they made the mask fit on Wyatt Russell's head. i mean he easily could've been cast as a legit Captain America, and they could've made him look the part, but he's supposed to not fit in this context. they did a great job with his whole character in this show.
