Also note these images are not perfect, teeth and fingers might be a bit funny looking at times.

both descriptions are true about AI and model development as it is in something like a statement like there are people that kill other people and people that don't kill other people, there are people that kill to defend and kill for enjoyment. Which model, the means the model is created, how the data in the model is organized, retrieved, calculated, translated from text have a process that have moral and immoral elements end to end. So there are lawsuits worth pursuing, some models that shouldn't be used, algorithms used to make models that have been stolen to make other models of which the content to build the model are from entirely different sources. So it can matter which process is used if you want to support artists, from where the model method was created, and how the images created are distributed or provide monetary support for all parties involved in the process.

That may have been true 10 years ago, not now. Its all procedurally generated from data sets and they are good enough to be photo realistic. They contain ZERO real existing photos, unless someone Photoshop's them in.

With the specific goal of recreating one person. That's morally wrong, but we've been doing that in VAM for the last few years, with the celeb posts.

2024-01-29 22:55:40 +0000 UTCI'm not doing a face swap, I've described the face I look for to make it unique and consistent, in about 150 words, hair, etc. It then creates a face, using the millions of faces it has learnt from. It looks real, because it's suppose to. it's not based on one person. because out of the 50 or so images I created of this model, they mostly different.
