This week I have been actually painting my lads!
I had put all your community pics together and realised I didn't even have any of my own. So I've spent this week making a board, painting my regiment and making some terrain. I've borrowed a flash camera, and I'm trying to get to grips with photography. Its a complete blind spot for me.
Any tips here would be really useful... also where do i get a smoke machine on the cheap?
To finish my set I'm making some stagnant bogs today. Sunken houses rise and squelch into the marsh as you play, providing temporary hills/defenses sounds great fun so i'm doing that. Rules wise it needs some tinkering, but as long as you have some houses and some bogs, should be pretty straightforward.
This sunken row house was pretty easy to make but was very, very messy. Would anyone be interested in a quick guide? I know people have been eager to make some boards.
Gameplay wise I'm looking at getting a TTS (tabletop simulator) mod made so we can play together in luxury.
I'm searching for artists and modders that would fit the bill. Not that happy with my tokens, I think they should be a bit more characterful. Kind of a side development thing, so will just update you all as this progresses.
Turnip28 is best played in real life with real mates and real turnips, but if you'd like to play a dodgy version using cobbled together objects online, annoy me on discord and we can arrange a game. I can experiment on you with the new abilities.
