Halloween suggestions?

I like this idea myself, the two have a bit of a domination kink that I think this fits well with.

Oh, treads here go only one level deep. As reply to the question why a monster goes for one of it's own kind, I have to admit that I didn't know they prefer fairies. I assumed they procreate among their own species and only play with fairies. So as alternative idea I have to offer a hot spring/mud bath that is popular among fairies for health effects and located in the dark forest. Then they find out that the faerie with the monster costume is indeed a monster bathing with them.

The fairy mistakes for a monster is funny, but why would a monster go for one of its kind if they usually go for fairies instead? Like he finds out she's not a monster and then want to get bizy with her?

People seem to want something involving 297, so I might work around that indeed.

I bet the Queen could be a weird/sexy witch.

I will probably do something spider/insect like for the Dark Forest entry, that's mostly certain.

That's a simple and funny idea as well, I like it.

That's a cute idea, I like it. Only problem is that it's ahead of the comic, in terms of development (297 accepted into the village) but I guess it doesn't have to be canon, really, it's mostly for fun. I might do it!

There's plenty of halloween art pieces that doesn't, require kids trick or treating, just browse HF for halloween lol.

This is a cool monster concept, but quite complex to draw, I would probably need to make some design sketches and I don't think I have that time this month, but it did gave me an idea for a simpler insect-monster that I might do instead for this halloween Dark Forest entry.

how about an image of a few fearies trick or treating in sexy costumes with a bunch of tentacles coming out of the shadows towards the candy they have?

what if a nihallak suddenly walks out from behind a corner, surprising #297, yelling trick or treat? as the trick, the costume unzips and a fairy steps out, then as the treat, she gives him a sweet peck on the (cheek, faceplate???) before more raunchy sexy shenanigans ensue

For the Scary/Deadly/Ominous Doom picture: Maybe the plant monster I described awhile back would fit the bill for this? Reposting for reference: Take a regular spider plant, like the one pictured here: mickeysplants.com/plantcats/trailing/Spider%20Plant.jpg Now Change it as so: > make it giant (of course) > The attached “spiders” are actual plant-spiders, with four additional (thicker, shorter, stronger) legs on their backs. They secrete a venom the temporarily disables magical abilities. > The pot is just a tougher part of the plant (that is rounded on the bottom instead of pot-shaped, more of a marble rock-ish coloration as well.) > The leaves have dozens of spider-like “legs” on their top side, arranged in a row, that are similar to the legs on the back of the plant-spiders. Imagine an upside-down centipede transformed into a leaf. How it operates: 1) A plant spider ambushes a fairy, using its venom to disable her magic and then – using its longer down facing legs - binding her arms behind her back with a silk-like amber that then hardens. 2) The plant-spider transfers the fairy to its stronger back legs. 3) Plant-Spider carries the fairy to the main plant, transferring the fairy to the waiting leaf legs. 4) The incredibly strong leaf legs haul the struggling fairy up the leaf, and then down into the center of the plant. 5) The fairy is pulled into the main body (the “pot”) of the plant, eventually finding herself held tight with just her face protruding from the main body. 6) The plant then harvests the fairy’s energy – <name> Plants can sometimes have several trapped, exhausted fairies and continues to hold them indefinitely unless rescue occurs. The plant often moves to a secluded location; after capturing a few fairies as it can only be active for about a day or so before having to rest for several weeks. Once it gets situated for hibernation it extends feeding tubes into the mouths of its captives. It is speculated that the face thing is a way to lure other fairies towards it (using the moans of its captured prey). --- If the above isn't doom-y enough you could add that it eventually drains them completely and then consumes their lives. I also suggest the ominous doom pick include at least one dark haired fairy, for no other reason than the personal preference of one fan of ominous doom pictures <me>.

A faerie in a scary monster outfit is mistaken by monster for one of it's kind and molested. Or a monster steals a fairies candy. Maybe fairies have a test of courage and need to steal candy from a scary monster. Or have to seduce a monster, maybe wit sexy clothes.

Fairies trick or treating at the Nihallak ship, I'm sure there is plenty of room for funny with costuming and sexy with the results. As for the dark forest entry... A giant trapdoor arachnid which takes it's prey captive seems both plausible and fatal, for your consideration :D

Sexy witches! Yeah, not original but I'm still a fan of the classics. Have you ever seen Gil Elvgren's witches?

For the general appeal pic, maybe have a naughty trick-or-treat scene with #297 "treating" his favorite fairy, while another fairy plays a "trick" on the Queen. ;)
