Various island creatures
Added 2015-09-29 02:35:24 +0000 UTCLast bit of sketch design for a bit, just regular, non monstrous animals, the kind of creature you can find wandering around the land, or around towns, or being kept as house pets. There are more than that, but those are a few archetypes, Just like in the real world you have the archetype bird, a beaked, flying, feathery thing, which is then split in ten of thousands subspecies.
I could have gone weirder than that for an alien world fauna, but first, fairies, and their draigjiby ancestors are very humanoid, so I wanted the animals to be very similar to earth animals. Second, I wanted a clear cut distinction with the freaks of the dark forest, which are truly abnormal monsters that can't be found anywhere else.
For the immediate future none of these creature will have a major role, but I wanted them ready in case I want to put some in the comic background, flying in the distance or pulling a cart for some fairies on the road.
