Funny enough I already have the next 3 pages' texts written, there's just no art in it yet. But that gives me enough material to extrapolate the length of the chapter, and it's gonna be much longer than 30 pages. Probably double that or more! I could split it in smaller chapters, but then the chapter 2 cover isn't accurate anymore. What do you think I should do? An extra long chapter 2, or a split chapter 2 and new cover art?

2015-09-26 00:05:36 +0000 UTCWell the thing is as far as separators go, that's what make that chapter so long, we will alternate between funny scenes in Seatown, sad/scary scenes in the wild and mixed scenes in the nihallak ship, and if I were to try and compact the scenes to make the chapter shorter, it would "feel" rushed, chaotic. So technically the chapter is already separated, so it shouldn't feel as dragging on as the chapter 1, which was saved by all the sex, really. Chapter 2 will have sex too, of course, but the environment, lore and story will be interesting as well. And I do have one flashback planned, but it will be toward the end of the chapter.

2015-09-25 09:21:49 +0000 UTCI think just see how it goes and if it becomes a extra long chapter, it will be known as the legendary chapter to the following generations ;D edit: also if you are set on the chapter length you can put in some flashback as seperator. Something about how ancient fairys created some secret stuff under great hardships. It will spring to action later and be much more epic because of the previously created lore. Or keep it simple, like lunch break. Or even funny like in the meantime laura was raped by tentacles ;P
